The Role​

We are seeking a DEI Program Manager to oversee the implementation and management of DSRDC's online programs to ensure that they are well-executed, effective, and impactful. The DEI Program Manager will also play a key role in creating strong connections with critical D&I stakeholders, both internally and externally, to enhance and sustain the quality of our programs while fostering engagement and a culture of knowledge sharing and community for our members. Our ideal candidate is someone with a passion for building community and knowledge sharing within the DEI space. We’re looking for someone who offers a great customer service experience, is detail-oriented, and can manage communication across multiple channels.

This role will report directly to our Founder & CEO.

What You'll Do​

​​

  • Oversee all programming (monthly events, guest speaker webinars, special events, co-working sessions), which includes: handling the planning/logistics, scheduling, setting up zoom meetings for virtual sessions, and serving as the main point of contact

  • Partner with our Admin & Account Executive to manage overall membership life-cycle

  • Define and look to improve existing processes, implement and/or use workflow tools

  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement initiatives to provide additional training, events, support, and coaching of current and alum members

  • Monitor metrics and data related to all programs in partnership with our business development team

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with organizations & institutions that would benefit from our programs

 

This is a high-visibility position that will require direct interaction with our members and will have a wide-ranging impact across the company.

Who We’re Looking For 

​

  • You have 3-5 years of experience with program management and culture building, ideally having worked in a start-up setting.

  • You value and commit to equity and being intersectional in how you show up

  • You value transparency, open and direct communication

  • You have experience with facilitating adult leaders, interpersonal relations, relationship building, and management, 

  • You are a systems thinker who thinks outside the box, with an ability to drive change in the area of DEI and culture development 

  • You are a self-starter who takes the initiative to solve problems as they arise, generate content, and meet deadlines with minimum guidance and supervision

  • You are knowledgeable about DEI, intersectionality, change management, and curriculum development.

  • You are curiosity-driven and are continuously expanding your knowledge in the DEI space.

Benefits & Compensation​​

We are looking for a program manager that can work 10-20 hrs/week beginning early December or early January. We will pay at a rate of $30–$40/hr.
